Day 1: Hanoi – Ha Long Cruise (L,D)
Depart for Halong Bay in an air-conditioned vehicle. Arrive in Halong around 12:30pm. The crew welcomes you on board the CLASSIC SAIL. Enjoy welcome drink, check-in to your cabin. Lunch with fresh seafood is served at 1:30pm, start a 3.5 hours cruise into mystic Halong Bay to see the amazing karsts with different formations: But Moc islet, Cap De islet, Trong (Drum) cave, floating fishing village, with its unique way of life. Then head to Me Cung Cave, strolling around the cave before enjoy swimming, sun bathing at Ti Top beach or climb the peak of the mountain for a breath-taking panorama view of Halong bay. There will be traditional games available for evening entertainment and an informal Vietnamese language lesson. Dinner and overnight on CLASSIC SAIL junk
Day 2: Ha Long Kayaking (B,L,D)
After breakfast, the small boat pick up for whole day kayaking at 9:00. Cruising to Hang Ca, paddle through the tunnel and emerge into a crater lake, surrounded by impenetrable cliffs and gliding kites. The trip to this cave is dependent upon tidal conditions. Continue head to Tien Ong Cave – an untouched one with sparkling stalactites in different formations. Enjoy a trip to Van Gia floating village, take a short time in Van Gia Cultural Center. The boat continue to Lan Ha Bay with stop in Ba Trai Dao for picnic lunch at 13:00 and then is time for bathing in white marvelous sandy beach and kayaking in a quite, crystal water, limestone cliffs with many hidden small caves. It is rare time to discover unique of the Bay. If the time permit, continue to Ba Ham lake that is dependent upon tidal conditions. Ba Ham or ‘Three Tunnel Lake’ is a shallow lagoon surrounded by steep limestone walls connected to the sea by three low ceiling tunnels that are only navigable by sampan at low tide. Late afternoon, cruise back mother boat for dinner and overnight on board.
Day 3: Ha Long – Hanoi (B, L)
Early risers can enjoy a morning view of bay’s landscape with a cup of tea or coffee with light breakfast. Sitting on the upper deck, you can relax while taking in the breath-taking beauty of the rocky islands rising from the crystal-clear water of the bay. After breakfast take 40 minutes walking around Sung Sot Cave – one of the biggest and most beautiful in Ha Long Bay then head to cruising to Luon Cave. At 9:30 boat starts cruising back to the jetty while brunch is served from 10:30 to 11:30. Check out time at 10:00. We continue cruising through the bay, along the way seeing more of the fascinating formations. Board arrives at habour by 12:00 for the drive back to Hanoi.
