Destination: Hanoi - Mai Chau - Son La - Dien Bien - Lai Chau -Sapa

You are a good motor driver in your country - but try it to find out the difference with Vietnam road and Vietnam traffic style. An amazing experience, on the saddle of the motorbike, through 6 provinces stretched along the border with Lao and the border with China, meeting lots of colorful minorities, with trekking and visiting the local villages. And the most interesting thing is to visit the Sunday markets seeing the trading of the hill tribes.

Iteniraries

- Day 1: Hanoi – Mai Chau.
Depart and wind our way to Hoa Binh town, before that we will be driving our own way through villages, valleys of Ha Tay and Hoa Binh province. Lunch break in Hoa Binh town, visit the power plant and continue hitting the roads up hills to Kun pass and onto nice roads offering spectacular views over the valleys and mountains. Arrive in Lac village of the With Thai people in Mai Chau before dark., check in a still house then take a short walk around. After dinner You can have chance to join the traditional dance of the White Thai people, taste Ruou Can - the special wine of the local made from rice and a kind of tree leaves. Overnight in Thai’s house on stilts.

- Day 2: Mai Chau – Son La (150 km)
After breakfast drive to Son La, a stop in Moc Chau with hundreds of giant grass farm for cows, You will know why this is the biggest milk centre in Vietnam, continue driving to Son La and enjoy the view of the North mountain, at noon you will arrive in Son La, check in the hotel the  visit the ancient prison in the French war. Walk around the town and overnight in Son La. (B)

- Day 3: Son La - Dien Bien Phu (180km)
Leave Son La passing Tuan Giao town stop for lunch and continue driving to Dien Bien Phu - The famous historical site of Vietnam Where we defeated the French to seize our fredom and independence, visit the old battle fields of, war museum, airport... (B)

- Day 4: Dien Bien Phu - Lai Chau – Tam Duong (~190km)
Drive throughout Lai Chau, lunch break in this old town then head out for our scenic drive to Tam Duong, on this day you'll have a chance to see the most beautiful hill tribes in Northern Vietnam with the variety of clothes and home such as H'Mong, Black Thai, Black Dzao, Pazi...discover their traditions and customs.  Overnight in Tam Duong.(B)

- Day 5: Tam Duong – Sapa (80km)
After breakfast depart to Sapa, stop over in Binh Lu to visit Binh Lu Market - of the Lu hill tribe ( black teeth) or you can to go trekking here for some hours, After that you will pass Tram Ton Pass - 2000ms above the sea level, see the Fansipan Peak and Silver waterfall.
Arrive in Sapa, check in the hotel and discover Sapa town by night.(B,D)

- Day 6 : Sapa Lao -  Chai and Ta Van village (trekking and homestay)
Today you leave your motor in the hotel and trek down to Muong Hoa Valley the first village you get to is Lao Chai village to visit the Black H'Mong tribe. Have a picnic lunch on the way then keep going along the bottom of the Sapa valley to get to Ta Van village, which is supposed to be the most beautiful one in the area, where you stay overnight in a local family .(B,L,D)

- Day 7 : Ta Van – Giang Ta Chai – Sapa
We start the trip after breakfast, heading up to Giang Ta Chai village of the Red Zdao tribe where you will have lunch .Amazing sceneries and beautiful waterfall are to be seen in the afternoon before going up to the main road where you will be picked up by motorbike/jeep .Ride back to Sapa and you might stop some times on the way to take photos of the fabulous valley of Sapa . A hot shower before down to Lao Cai for the night train back to Hanoi. you will arrive in Hanoi at about 05 a.m of the next day. End of the tour.(B,L)
